Charcter: Vergil

Vergil is a human of about 6'0''. He is fairly scrawny, but he is well toned. He has blue eyes and brown hair. He has a long scar running down his arm, given to him by his brother in a fight to the death. They were fighting over their weapons ancestral weapon. Vergil's great great great... Grandfather was a great warrior, and he fought a powerful demon and bested it with his broad sword, but, he was not powerful enough to survive the fight himself, he died soon after. The sword has the soul of Vergil's ancestor on it, and it has a portion of the demons power in it. Vergil found that he had psychic powers, but because of his power, he was hunted throughout the human kingdom, because it was heresy to contain such power. He would eventually find a settlement where animals seemed to be intelligent, creatures that were also widely hunted by humans, so Vergil decided to live with these people. He has kept contact with one human however, his only name is "The Shadow", and he periodically hires Vergil for mercenary jobs, especially hunting vampires. His Psychic powers mostly manifest in forms of telekinesis and pyrokenesis, but he is not limited to these powers. He is renowned for his luck, but this typically only helps him in games, he will always roll what he needs, he will always win his bets, the only real practical application is in a fight, whenever someone is about to land a fatal blow, their weapons malfunction, for example, a gun would jam if it were about to shoot him. His ancestoral sword can call upon the demon's old magic to fight for. Vergil's sword can talk to him, but because the sword can only talk to direct decendents of the man who killed the demon, no one else can hear the voice, so everyone thinks Vergil is crazy. He also has many blessed daggers (for fighting vampires) on his person, well hidden, so that only a seasoned warrior would see one of the stabs coming.
